George and Amal Clooney turned heads at the opening of the 83rd Venice Film Festival, appearing together on the red carpet for the premiere of Ink, directed by Danny Boyle.
The evening was particularly significant for George Clooney, who was honoured with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement in recognition of his career as an actor, director and producer.
George looked effortlessly elegant in a classic black tuxedo, while Amal captivated in a sophisticated black gown by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, paired with statement diamond and emerald jewellery.
The couple’s appearance added an extra touch of glamour to one of the festival’s most anticipated opening-night moments.
