Zahle concluded the highly
successful “Zahle by Night” festival, a three-day celebration organized by
Tribe Events in collaboration with the Municipality of Zahlé–Maalaka–Taanayel, and held at Joseph Tohme Skaff, bringing together culture, music, local
entrepreneurship, and tourism in an initiative that highlighted the city’s
unique identity while stimulating its economic and tourism sectors.
The festival opened in the
presence of Mayor of Zahlé–Maalaka–Taanayel Mr Salim Ghazaleh, Member of Parliament Dr. Salim Aoun, alongside
public officials, social and economic figures from the region, as well as a
distinguished gathering of journalists, media representatives, influencers, and
content creators.
More than a music festival,
“Zahle by Night” was designed as a platform to celebrate Zahle’s heritage while
supporting local businesses and showcasing the city’s rich cultural and tourism
potential.
A dedicated media
familiarization tour was organized for journalists and content creators, taking
them through some of Zahle’s most iconic landmarks, heritage sites,
restaurants, and cultural attractions. The initiative offered participants the
opportunity to discover the city’s history, hospitality, and vibrant identity
firsthand, encouraging broader media exposure and promoting Zahle as one of
Lebanon’s leading tourism destinations.
The festival also featured an
exhibition of Lebanese artisans, entrepreneurs, and local producers, providing
them with a platform to showcase their products and connect directly with
thousands of visitors. The initiative reflected the organizers’ commitment to
supporting local production and empowering small and medium-sized businesses.
Musically, the festival
opened with an energetic performance by the Jordanian band Harget Kart, while
internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Guy Manoukian captivated
audiences on the second evening with a remarkable live concert. The festival
concluded with vibrant performances by musicians and DJs, maintaining a festive
atmosphere throughout its three-day program.
Zeina Halawi, Founder of
Tribe Events, emphasized that the vision behind “Zahle by Night” extends beyond
entertainment, aiming to create meaningful events that stimulate local
economies, promote domestic tourism, support Lebanese businesses, and celebrate
the unique identity of Lebanon’s cities.
She added that the success of
the festival demonstrates the value of collaboration between the public and
private sectors in creating sustainable cultural initiatives capable of
generating long-term social and economic impact.
The remarkable success of
“Zahle by Night” reaffirmed Zahle’s position as one of Lebanon’s most
distinctive cultural and tourism destinations, proving once again that
well-curated festivals can become powerful drivers of urban revitalization,
community engagement, and economic growth.
Building on the success of
“Zahle by Night,” Tribe Events will continue its summer calendar with the 3rd
edition of the Aley International Festival, taking place from August 6 to 9 at
Ras El Jabal, Aley. The festival will feature an exciting lineup including
Jordanian band Harget Kart and the 120-member Women’s Choir on opening night,
followed by Joseph Attieh, George Nehme, and a closing evening of live music
and DJs, further reflecting Tribe Events’ commitment to bringing Lebanese
cities to life through culture, music, and unforgettable community experiences.
